Liz joined the tour back in May 2010 when she stumbled across a Craig’s List ad looking for Denver tour guides. She knew she’d be perfect for the job because she’d honed her skills while living in Milan, Italy in 2008.
In Italy, she and her husband shared a beautiful apartment with a guest bedroom and bath in a very fashionable part of town. Needless to say, her family, friends and business associates were only too eager to help Liz gain all the experience she needed by giving them free tours of the city. The truth is, Liz didn’t need much practice. As a former teacher with an advanced degree in English Literature, Liz not only loves a good story; she loves to talk and have people listen to what she has to say.
When she’s not giving tours of her adopted city, Liz is usually training for a long distance running event of some kind, or playing tennis with a friend. The minute she stops to catch her breath, Liz can be found spending time with her husband of 12 years in their 100+ year-old Capitol Hill home. She enjoys an incredibly active social life, cooking, traveling, music and entertaining, reading, and outsmarting the squirrels in her garden. Basically, she likes to have a good time all the time.
